Immediate Improvement

Once again it was an absolute privilege and honor to have you in this week!
The students have mentioned multiple times the impact your discussion on wind pedagogy has had on their fundamental sounds. I am amazed at the immediate improvement your discussion and modeling has had in such a fast timeframe! It is so refreshing being reminded of the many depictions and models applicable to wind band.

Relatable & Fun

As a clinician, Dr. Loos did a fantastic job working with my band students.  He gave a very clear explanation of fundamental musical concepts and exercises on how to improve on these concepts individually and as an ensemble.  He gave them exactly what they needed to hear in a way that was very relatable and fun.  Our band sonority is significantly improved with just the 2 hours he was here.   We all are looking forward to working with him again!

-- Paul Robinson, Director of Bands,

    Pine Ridge High School

He operated at a different level than the rest of the band and volunteers: approachably-professional, always early, prepared, and enjoying the experience of playing for others.

Comprehensive & Engaging
Howard Middle School was fortunate to host Brandon Loos at the end of the year. He presented a comprehensive and engaging lesson on the variety of options available to the modern trumpet player in six different middle school classes and he performed with the School jazz band. Brandon gave Howard the same level of performance and integrity he would give with any professional level ensemble. We look forward to working with him on future projects!

Beautiful Tone
I hired Brandon Loos to perform with the Bach Festival Youth Choir. Brandon was extremely punctual, professional and sounded amazing. I was concerned about potential balance issues as the choir was singing without microphones. However, Brandon was spot on and played with a beautiful tone that completely balanced and enhanced the choir. The piece was the talk of the concert and I look forward to having him again in the near future.

Diverse & Delightful
Brandon Loos has played at John Knox Village many times over the last 7 years in various areas and the Residents love him.  We have been very fortunate to have Brandon perform at John Knox. We make sure every time he visits Florida we have him play in our Auditorium.  He delights the audience with explanations of the music and shows the variations & diversity of playing many horns.  You won’t be disappointed having Brandon play for any size group.

Artistic Playing
I have known Brandon Loos for well over five years.  During this time he has been in the Church’s employ for Christmas and Easter most of these seasons.  Brandon’s artistic playing is the caliber of top professional quality!  He can play any style presented, with the mastery and fineness required.   He not only possesses the ability to play each style but also through his variety of instruments that complement each style performed!  He is knowledgeable, reliable, dependable, and professional.  We plan to continue to employ Brandon to lead our Brass Ensemble.
